Oslo Building Worker’s Union is a trade union for those who work in the building and construction industry. We have approximately 2100 members in and around Oslo, many of them of foreign origin. We're not a union for Norwegian workers, but a union for workers working in Norway.

On this site, you can find basic information about what you are entitled to while working here. It is our task to defend members' wages and working conditions, and we encourage you to join the union.
 
You are vulnerable when standing on your own as a building worker. Only by standing together can we ensure a secure and safe job environment, and decent wages and working conditions. The trade union movement is based on the idea that we help each other, and that those with the strongest shoulders bear some of the burden for those who are weaker. One day, you may be the one who are in need of help.
